We are pleased about your visit to our website. The protection of your personal data is important to us. Below we inform you about the processing of personal data when using this website in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR.

2. Principles of this website
This website is deliberately built to be data-minimal: it sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics services and embeds no content from third-party servers. Fonts and scripts are delivered locally from our server. A consent banner is therefore not required.
3. Hosting and server log files
When you access this website, the web server of our hosting provider automatically processes information transmitted by your browser (server log files): IP address, date and time of the request, page accessed, referrer URL, browser and operating system used. This data serves to ensure trouble-free operation, the security of our systems and error analysis. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website). Log files are deleted by the hosting provider in accordance with its deletion policy.
4. Contact and enquiry forms
If you use our forms (contact, profile enquiry), we process the data you enter (in particular name, email address, optionally company and phone number, your message and uploaded files such as drawings) exclusively to handle your enquiry. Transmission is encrypted (TLS). Uploaded files are stored outside the publicly accessible area of our web server and treated confidentially. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. For spam protection we use server-side checks without external services (including a timing check and an invisible control field); no data is transmitted to third parties. We delete your enquiry data once processing is complete and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Email contact and applications
If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle the enquiry (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). Application documents are treated confidentially and processed exclusively for the application procedure (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, § 26 BDSG); after completion of the procedure they are deleted in accordance with statutory requirements.
6. Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; for Hesse this is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
7. Right to object
Insofar as we process data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless compelling legitimate grounds exist.
8. Data security
We use state-of-the-art security measures, in particular TLS encryption for transmission as well as technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, destruction and unauthorised access.
9. Currency of this policy
